Carmel, from Crawley, Sussex, has been missing since 23 May 1998. It is thought Carmel may have travelled to south London after her disappearance. Her family are desperate for news regarding Carmel’s wellbeing and urge her or anyone with information to get in touch. When last seen Carmel was 5ft tall, of slim build and had black, bobbed hair. She has brown eyes, a Mediterranean complexion and a scar in the middle of her forehead. The accompanying image of Carmel has been age-progressed by the charity Missing People to suggest how Carmel may look now.
