Thames Festival
This Free festival is held on the 13th and 14th September between Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge.
There are hundreds of things going on from music to exhibitions, to just simply stuffing your face with fantastic foods. A huge riverside fire will be set up and the end of the festival promises a firework display that London can be proud of.
Here are some of our highlights...
On the Saturday at 5pm there will be a Korean B-Boy crew doing some impressive break dancing dancing that has wowed audiences across the world. This will be held at the Bernie Spain Gardens by the Oxo Tower.
On the Sunday there is a spectacular night carnival which will light up the streets of London. This will start at 6pm on Victoria Embankment and finishes at the Royal National Theatre.
On both days at 10pm on the Saturday and 9pm on the Sunday, you should pop on down to the London Bridge Pier for Swap Rock. You can hear Cajun and Zydeco dance music from the swamps and bayous of Louisiana to the banks of the Thames. Not bad eh?!
Finally what we think you just shouldn't miss if you go is The Whoopee Club spectacular in The Scoop. There will be pierrots, burlesque, neo-variety clowns, fire, frogmen, magic and harlequin dancers. The show starts 8pm on the Saturday.
